Challenge your children to put down the tablet or phone, to turn off the video game and explore. Get outside and see the real world and not the virtual ones we often gravitate towards. Go on an adventure together. Explore a new hiking trail. Head to a new beach, lake, or pond. Put play clothes on and go to a field and play in the rain. Slide in the mud. Jump in puddles. But do it together. Create memories and show them that the world and their lives are more fun outside than they are buried in a screen.
